Tianmei Beverage Group continues to maintain strong sales momentum

Tianmei Beverage Group Corporation Ltd (ASX:TB8) is continuing to see growth in sales and rising profits throughout the second half of the financial year.

The company has delivered strong growth across its businesses, which includes bottled water, water dispensers and household water purifiers, for the half-year ended May 2017.

Tianmei achieved a revenue of circa $52.5 million for the half-year to May 2017, a 253% increase compared to the same period last year.

Significantly, the company’s net profit for the half-year was circa $18.9 million, a 416% increase compared to the previous year.

Tianmei has contracts with over 900 supermarkets and convenience stores in the Guangdong province.

Guangdong province is one of China's most developed provinces with a gross domestic product of US$1.1 trillion in 2014 and its capital, Guangzhou city, is China's third largest city.

Tianmei has a number of approved and pending patents surrounding its water products and production equipment.

The company’s key marketing strategy is to promote its four water dispenser products, two water purifiers and its beauty spray through an established network of partner retail stores.

Furthermore, the company is developing new products spread across four major product lines: high-end drinking water, expectant mothers’ drinking water, sports water and active-natural mineral water.
