Dragontail recently rolled out the Algo system into Pizza Hut Canada

Dragontail Systems (ASX:DTS) has been selected to roll out its Algo drivers' management and enhanced tracker platform across more than 60 Domino’s Pizza restaurants in Israel.

Algo optimises and manages the entire process starting from food preparation all the way to its delivery to the customer, completely streamlining the food preparation and delivery processes.

The Algo dispatching system is the only system in the world that fully automates the kitchen flow combined with the process of dispatching drivers.

A restaurant can track its drivers and customers with a service such as Uber Eats but with Algo, a food service business can manage the entire flow starting in the kitchen on a single software system.

This win makes Dragontail's Algo Dispatching System the de-facto platform to manage food deliveries in Israel, with the two largest pizza delivery companies now on board.

Dragontail continues to expand globally with its Algo platform operating in the U.S, Canada and Israel, and pilots commencing in Malaysia and Singapore.

Ido Levanon, CEO, commented

“This is an exciting win for Dragontail, and supports Dragontail's position as the preferred optimisation solution for the quick service restaurants (QSR) industry.

“This is a strong validation of Dragontail’s technology solution.

“Our Algo platform is now the de-facto delivery platform for the food industry in Israel, and with operations expanding across the U.S, Canada and now into Asia, we have a very attractive growth runway ahead.”

The platform replaces a good manager

The system can be seen to be the equivalent of an efficient and effective store manager.

This equivalent manager would be required to look at every single order location, every driver location, every meal status in the kitchen and the pack station.

The manager would then use this data to oversee the most efficient method for the orders to be prepared in the kitchen before being dispatched and delivered.

Come a long way since IPO

Dragontail has come a long way since its December 2016 IPO raising $6 million.

This progress was reinforced by Google, who selected Dragontail to give a presentation at the Google Cloud Next Event in Tel Aviv earlier in the year.

Soon after showcasing its business disruptive technology, Dragontail received its first customer referral from Google in the fleet and fuel management segment.

Dragontail maintains its first mover advantage as the only system in the world that fully automates kitchen optimisation, flow, despatch and delivery.

Milestones for the current quarter

During the current September quarter, Dragontail aims to:

- Start implementation of Algo to major customer franchisees in the U.S;
- Sign first customer in Asia; and
- Start implementation of Algo in non-QSR sector.
