Enertopia Corp to start lithium exploration programs in US and Argentina

Enertopia Corporation (CSE:TOP)  is to initiate lithium exploration programmes in both the US and Argentina in coming months.

A very targeted location specific review of high priority lithium targets across the South Western US will run for 10 days from May 17 to May 27.

Speaking to Proactive Investors, president and chief executive Robert McAllister said the company would be focusing on six to eight targets.

This follows six months of due diligence and internal reviews. Any self-generated and acquired projects would be free of third party cash payments, share issuances or over riding royalties, Enertopia said.

A first lithium exploration program in Argentina will also start from June 1-5 targeting very specific locations in conjunction the company’s consultants in the country.

Enertopia added it will not be taking its three brine targets in Nevada forward with the projects returned to the property vendors and the option agreement terminated.

“We are working aggressively at mapping out the next steps for phase two battery grade lithium carbonate purity bench testing, project advancements and property acquisitions.” said chief executive Robert McAllister.
