Dotz Nano has signed a marketing agreement with Strem Chemicals Inc

Dotz Nano is a nano-technology company focusing on the development, manufacture and commercialisation of graphene quantum dots (GQDs).

GQDs are used in various applications including medical imaging, sensing, consumer electronics, energy storage, solar cells and computer storage.

Strem Chemicals will facilitate sales of Dotz’s GQDs to academic, industrial and government research and development laboratories as well as commercial businesses using GQDs for research purposes.

Strem Chemicals will hold Dotz Nano’s products in inventory for resale to its clients through online and printed catalogues. Strem’s clients number several hundred organisations.

The research market is a substantial one, with a high profit margin. Therefore, it makes good business sense to ally with an established chemical distributor with a proven network.

With the receipt of Strem Chemicals purchase order, Dotz Nano has achieved the first sales of its GQDs and is on its way to full commercialization of GQDs.

Dotz Nano changed its name from Northern Iron in November 2016 after raising $6 million from a public offer.

The company’s shares were last trading at $0.36, up 5.88% intra-day.
