Westgold Resources (ASX:WGR) has requested a trading halt pending release of an announcement about the AngloGold Ashanti Australia (ASX:AGG) clawback on Rover 1.
The halt will last until an announcement is made or commencement of trading on Wednesday 1 September 2010.
On May 27 Westgold reported that the first hole (WGR1D048-1) of drilling program at the Rover 1 gold-copper deposit returned excellent high-grade gold results, including further bonanza grade gold.
Rover 1 is located in the Northern Territory, 100km southwest of Tennant Creek and includes the Jupiter, Western and Southern zones.
