Metals Australia attracts investor interest

Zinc was one of the best performing commodities during 2016.

During December, the company completed the acquisition of Quebec Lithium, owner of lithium and graphite projects in the mining friendly state of Canada, Quebec.

The completion of the acquisition allows Metals Australia to progress with its planned exploration activities which will initially focus on the Lac La Motte lithium project and Lac Rainy Nord graphite project.

Consulting geologists have been engaged to design the first phase exploration program at each of these high priority projects.

Exploration is scheduled to commence during early 2017.

Furthermore, the company is also undertaking a diamond drilling program at the high grade Manindi zinc project, which was scheduled to commence early January.
