Lithium Australia NL testing Pilbara Minerals' spodumene concentrates

A 24-hour commissioning run of the Sileach™ circuit is planned to commence 16th December on spodumene concentrates supplied by Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS), as part of LIT and PLS’s joint efforts toward commercialisation of Sileach™ on Pilgangoora concentrates.

Further continuous piloting operations are planned for January 2017.

"The ability to achieve that without roasting, is a big step forward for Lithium Australia, and more broadly, the lithium industry.
