Dark Horse Resources Ltd to acquire the Los Domos Gold Project in Argentina

Dark Horse Resources Ltd (ASX:DHR) has entered into an optional agreement to acquire 85% of the Los Domos Gold Project in Argentina through a series of staged payments totalling US$3.4 million.

Should the vendor not wish to fund their 15% share of mine development, they can elect to dilute to a 5% free carried interest in the project and a 2% net profit interest.

The Los Domos Gold Project is located in the central‐eastern region of the Santa Cruz Province and contains two exploration licences - Cateos Los Domos and Los Domos Norte.

The licenses cover a combined area of about 105 square kilometres.

The region is host to numerous multi‐million ounce gold‐silver deposits including Cerro Vanguadia owned by AngloGold Ashanti Ltd (JSE:ANG), and Cerro Negro owned by Goldcorp Inc (TSE:G).

Highly elevated gold values were observed from lag sampling and analyses at the project area, including anomalous gold zones within epithermal vein structures and breccias.

Dark Horse has defined a number of drill ready targets associated with two pervasively altered rhyolitic domes.

The company’s share price has tripled in value since the start of 2016, last trading at $0.009.
