Technology rentals company, WolfStrike Rentals Group Ltd (ASX:WSG) has launched its first product into the Australian market, a leading edge mobile point of sale (mPOS) payments system developed by payments company Mint Payments Pty Limited (ASX:MNW).
The product has been rebranded under the Settle brand owned by WolfStrike.
Settle has been approved by all regulators and banking authorities for use by small businesses in Australia.
The product offers both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to all key smartphone and tablet devices and provides small businesses with a payments technology for a monthly rental fee.
The service is being marketed to mobile small businesses across Australia using a rental model operated by WolfStrike.
For the customer there are no up-front costs, and instead a monthly fee is paid and a percentage of each transaction.
While for WolfStrike its revenue model involves a monthly rental fee. As well the company will be paid a percentage of each transaction as part of a revenue sharing agreement with Mint Payments.
This could build into an ongoing recurring revenue stream for WolfStrike.
