Redstone Resources (ASX:RDS) has unveiled good copper grades of 2.6% from drilling the first 3 holes at its Tollu Project in south east of the West Musgrave region of Western Australia.

The first batch of results from RC drilling were from near surface oxide mineralisation and is very encouraging toward further copper exploration upside at Tollu.

This should lead to a maiden JORC resource estimate at Tollu this quarter.

The results from the Chatsworth form one of 16 Tollu prospects and highlights potential to develop a small scale starter oxide operation at West Musgrave.

On the Chatsworth Prospect, there is an exploration target of 4.3 to 6.4 million tonnes of mineralisation at a conceptual grade range of 1.6 - 2.4% copper, containing 69,000 to 154,000 tonnes of copper on the Chatsworth Prospect.

While for the larger Tollu project, the target is 22 to 33 million tonnes of mineralisation at a conceptual grade range of 0.9 ‐ 1.3% copper, containing 198,000 to 445,000 tonnes of copper.

The potential is there for a large scale, near surface copper project as there is a large swarm of hydrothermal copper rich quartz veins in a mineralised system covering an area of 5km2, with copper from surface to 379 metres.

These early drill results from one prospect underline the scale of the copper potential unfolding at Tollu.
