Hannans Reward (ASX: HNR) has increased the copper-gold intercept at its wholly-owned Pahtohavare Project in northern Sweden to 44 metres from 10 metres after carrying out a re-split assay.

The hole now hosts a 30 metre at 1.56% copper, 1.16 grams per tonne gold and 1.12g/t silver intercept from 40 metres and a 14 metre intercept grading 1.47% copper, 0.6g/t gold and 0.9g/t silver from 70 metres.

This includes high grade intercepts of 4 metres at 5.14% copper, 5.54g/t gold and 1.77g/t silver from 65 metres and 3 metres at 4.52% copper, 1.69g/t gold and 1g/t silver from 73 metres.

Assay results are pending for the balance of drill holes completed at the Central Orebody in July 2013; a total of 8 reverse circulation holes have been completed to date.

These assays will be reported in the coming weeks.

Pahtohavare project is located 8 kilometres southwest of Kiruna, a full-service mining town in Norrbotten County, northern Sweden. It is also well positioned with regard to major infrastructure; including sealed roads, power and open-access railway.
