Gladiator Resources shares soar 40%, prompts ASX 'please explain'

With a 40% share spike to $0.42 in intra-day trading yesterday, from a closing price of $0.30 on Friday 7 January, the ASX initiated a price and volume query to Gladiator Resources (ASX: GLA).

Gladiator responded saying that it is unaware of any information that has not been released to the market which may have sparked the sudden investor interest.

Late in 2010 Gladiator conducted a capital raising to progress exploration activities at the Zapucay area and accelerate earning the company’s interest in the Uruguay project.
