D’Aguilar Gold appoints Matthew White to lead Archer Resources
Mining investment holding company D’Aguilar Gold (ASX: DGR) has appointed Matthew White as chief executive officer of the wholly owned subsidiary Archer Resources.
Archer is a molybdenum, precious and base metals focused explorer, with projects in southeast Queensland.
The company already holds several prospective porphyry projects including Great Blackall, Calgoa, Peenam and Gayndah, which already host some significant copper-gold-silver-molybdenum mineralised zones.
Adding to the prospectivity of Archer's projects is that Great Blackall and Rawbelle adjoin the Aussie Q Resources (ASX: AQR) Whitewash and Gordons tenements which host copper and molybdenum discoveries.
D’Aguilar has a company strategy of generating exploration and development companies across a diverse portfolio of minerals, and countries.
D’Aguilar then develops these companies into IPO's, while maintaining a significant shareholding in each company, which is effectively building D’Aguilar into a diversified holding company of small to mid cap miners.
Currently D’Aguilar holds 52 million shares in Mt Isa Metals Limited (ASX: MET), 35.2 million shares in Solomon Gold plc (LSE: SOLG) and 58.85 million shares in AusNiCo (ASX: ANW).
D’Aguilar is currently finalising the $9 million fully underwritten IPO and ASX listing of Navaho Gold (ASX: NVG), which will hit the ASX boards on Monday 11 April at 10:30am, with 60.2 million shares on issue.
Archer is preparing for an ASX listing later this year.
