Tigers Realm Coal’s (ASX: TIG) drilling has substantially increased coal strike at the Strike F Project at Amaam North in Russia to 11.6 kilometres from 3 kilometres.
This has also returned the thickest coal intersections of up to 21.4 metres at Project F.
The 6,000 metre drilling program has also intersected new coal seams of the east of Project F above the Project F seam package and made a new coal discovery north of Project F.
At the Amaam tenement, the company has completed over 6,000 metres of drilling to date that has identified new coal seams over a strike length of 2.2 kilometres.
It has also confirmed Area 2 as hosting about 8.3 metres of cumulative coal.
Ongoing programs at Project F comprise detailed engineering covering line of oxidation, waste dump and infrastructure sterilisation, geotechnical and hydrogeological studies.
At Amaam, approximately 3,000 metres of the current drilling program remains to be completed and is primarily aimed at the conversion of Inferred Resources to Indicated and Measured Resources ahead of Bankable Feasibility Studies, and further Licence conversions.
Tigers Realm Coal owns 80% of the Amaam coking coal project, which consists of the Amaam and Amaam North tenements in the Chukotka Province of far eastern Russia.
