MSM Corporation International Ltd (ASX:MSM) has completed the first test providing feedback for its Megastar Millionaire, an online, mobile-first, talent discovery competition platform.
As viewers are heading away from television to mobile, MSM is looking to create a mobile equivalent of ‘America's Got Talent’ and ‘American Idol’.
The company has tapped the talent pool of Silicon Valley, hiring Google data scientist Roman Sharkey and appointing Jon Kraft, co-founder of global music giant Pandora Media to its advisory board.
MSM will use the platform test data for beta testing, which is due to commence in September 2016.
The platform is planned for a launch in early 2017.
MSM Corporation, formally known as Minerals Corporation, raised $7 million as part of its transition into the tech space and listed on the ASX in January 2016.
The company has a strong balance sheet with $5.1 million cash at the end of the March 2016 quarter.
