Bluechiip (ASX:BCT) is releasing a range of new products, including a Developer Kit to help global OEM partners integrate Bluechiip technology with their own OEM products.
The Developer Kit allows potential OEM partners to incorporate and evaluate the Bluechiip technology in their products to assess the competitive advantage it provides. On successful evaluation Bluechiip will be in a position to support custom integration and establishment of ongoing license agreements.
The move represents part of a strategic plan to expand Bluechiip’s product range in direct response to market feedback as the company realises sales, licensing and royalty receipts from customers over the coming months.
As part of the product expansion, the company which has already developed a wireless tracking solution for the healthcare and life science, security, defence and manufacturing industries is also introducing a portable handheld reader and a Bluechiip Button for the new bio sample storage market.
Feedback received from multiple biobanks has identified a need to retrofit existing bio samples and identify multiple cryovial types.
In response to these requests and to open Bluechiip’s technology to the large, existing market of stored samples, the Company is developing Bluechiip Buttons capable of being easily retrofitted into existing biobank cryovials and samples to aid in the identification and temperature tracking.
In recent months, Bluechiip has received receipts from customers totalling A$10,000 and pursued a share placement at $0.045 per share to raise up to $1 million.
Bluechiip has also been given an approval from the Australian government allowing it to access advice and facilitation services expected to expand the company’s market attractiveness through high value IP and products.
This assistance may include access to finances in the form of a matched funding grant worth up to $50,000.
