Oliver Berkeley, the boss of a Canadian real estate development company, has been added to the board of directors at software company Midpoint (CVE:MPT).
Berkeley, who specializes in providing strategic direction to business start-ups in highly regulated, multi-jurisdictional markets, has been working with the foreign exchange trading platform operator for three months providing business advice on the establishment of a Canadian subsidiary operation.
Berkeley has also assisted in raising funds for Midpoint.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University College London and has trained as an accountant.
As one new board member comes in, another goes out, as chief financial officer Craig Astle has resigned with immediate effect.
The company is currently seeking a replacement for Astle.
Meanwhile, Corbin Comishin is to step down as chair of the audit commission but will remain on the board of directors.
