Stirling Products requests trading halt pending update on pharmaceutical manufacturing facility

Sydney-based emerging global healthcare and pharmaceutical group Stirling Products (ASX: STI) has requested a trading halt to its shares, pending and update on the settlement and acquisition of a major pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Canada.

The company advised on 2 December 2009, the sale was subject to final approval of the Canadian courts.

The halt is requested until the release of the announcement or until Wednesday 3 March 2010.
